CPU Tests

Increasing the memory speed by over 40 per cent leads to a time reduction of half a second. We can achieve the same gains by increasing the CPU speed by 150MHz or so, but that's obviously not possible when the processor is at the limit.

Better latencies and faster speeds don't help much in Cinebench. The 2,800MHz CL16 Corsair memory is almost as fast.

Increasing memory speed is all about tapping into marginal gains.
