Remember the CPU is running at a maximum of 3.8GHz in all instances. The benefits derive from memory changes alone.

You gain all of 2fps when switching from 2,133MHz CL16 to 3,000MHz+ CL15.

We saw this sub-performance issue with the Corsair memory, too. There's no reason why faster memory should result in appreciably lower performance. We're currently in talks with Asus and Intel to pinpoint the problem.
