Sequential throughput is on point. We wouldn't expect it to be any faster due to the 10Gbps USB transfer limit.
Running real-world tests shows an average write speed of around 630MB/s on our test platform.
Performance is solid and consistent. In hindsight, Asus misses a step in not releasing this as at least a 1TB solution because the usable 470GB or so is too small; a few games is all it takes to fill it up.
