Review: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD (240GB)

PCMark 7 is a recent addition to our suite (hence the limited number of drives benchmarked) that provides an idea of what to expect during everyday use by simulating real-world usage scenarios.

The results speak for themselves; Kingston's 240GB HyperX 3K SSD is one of the fastest drives around. But the sticking point isn't speed or endurance, it's price. At the time of writing, SanDisk's 240GB Extreme SSD offers similar-if-not-better performance but costs roughly £50 less.
