ATTO, PCMark 8

We've teamed the latest Corsair up against three similar-capacity drives tested recently. Obtaining high ATTO scores is a cinch for most modern drives, and the Neutron XT is off to a predictably good start.

Fast sequential reading is almost a given. Corsair generally matches the reading speed, which is impressive when the smaller 240GB capacity is taken into account. Larger-capacity drives tend to be faster because they have more controller parallelism due to a greater number of interfacing dies on the PCB.

And the good work continues in PCMark 8. The pre-production Neutron XT produces numbers that are on a par with the best we've seen from any consumer drive.
