Notes
We're taking this opportunity to update our benchmark suite for systems. New additions include Cinebench Release 20 and Blender 2.82, as well as the latest releases of AIDA64 and CrystalDiskMark. Gaming benchmarks have also been standardised across systems.
As the AWD-IT 465X Ryzen 9 3900 is the first rig to be tested using the new suite, we're using our soon-to-be-retired Intel 8th Gen test platform as a comparison. It will be interesting to see how a modern-day Ryzen build fares alongside an Intel system from late 2017.
