Benchmarks: Storage
The Gigabyte Z170 motherboard featured in the DinoPC system is capable of supporting high-speed M.2 storage, but lowering cost is the order of the day and the 2.5in Kingston SSD is, by today's standards, able to deliver only mid-range performance.
Sequential read and write speeds of 435MB/s and 232MB/s aren't anything to brag about these days, but you do get 240GB of SSD capacity, near-instant responsiveness and silent operation. A decent stop-gap while you wait for M.2 drives to drop in price.
