Over 16,000 in 3DMark Fire Strike is a sign of a powerful graphics card, however we're at that stage where next-gen GTX 1080 looms large, and the trusty GTX 980 Ti is now quickly going to lose its lustre.
The amount of performance is overkill at FHD 1080p. All of these modern titles continue to run silky smooth at a QHD resolution, but the average framerate dips below 60fps at 4K UHD. We're intrigued to see how GTX 1080 will compare.
