HP confirms for Target Open Day

HP is the latest addition to the exhibitors at the Target Open Day in Leeds on 13th September.

The hardware and storage manufacturer will be highlighting developments from its server storage and network divisions, including its updated iQuote configuration tool that now includes laptops, PCs and workstations.

James Yates, Business Manager for Target's server division, Servers Plus, commented, "this is an ideal opportunity for B2B resellers to discuss hardware face-to-face with a leading global vendor."

HP joins a host of other vendors that includes Microsoft who will be presenting workshops on the New Office and Windows 8.1, Cooler Master, Kingston, Samsung, ASRock, Three and Toshiba, amongst others.

The Open Day will also feature all-new ShopTalk business workshops covering subjects such as how to become internet-proof and the real reason Tesco has exited the IT market, as well as the results of Target's second National Retail Price Comparison and practical tips on ‘how to compete so you'll always win'.

The event culminates in the inaugural ShopTalk IT Reseller Awards celebrating the role of the independent IT shop in UK retail. The awards comprise ten categories including ‘Best Shop Window', ‘Best Use of PR', ‘Best Website' and ‘Most Innovative/ Original Service Offering'.

The Target Open Day 2013 takes place at The DeVere Village Hotel, Leeds on 13th September.
