It's never been easy finding the right ISP. And the choice only seems to get harder. There's now a huge number of contenders - big and small - and all offer incentives or bundles that appeal in some way or other.
However, as many HEXUS regulars will be aware, a lot of these broadband deals force you to sign up to lengthy minimum contracts and that makes it difficult to move away if the service is not what it should be or if a clearly superior deal is offered by a competitor.
We, too, realise that picking an ISP is hard. All of us here have hard-luck stories about be stiffed by one ISP or another. Actually, most of us have been stiffed by a whole series of ISPs!

With a minimum contract of only one month and call-centres that are based in the UK, the company provides exceptionally good customer service - and that's according to the people who really count, its own subscribers.
Like HEXUS, the company doesn't reckon it's perfect. But it probably is entitled to claim the title of the UK's best broadband provider.
On the downside, Zen's not the cheapest of the cheap.
But, of course, if you need or want a top-quality service - and one with support people you can talk to without being strung out for half a morning on a premium rate line - then you'll appreciate that's simply not possible if the ISP is working on a shoe-string budget.
