Handset giant Nokia has announced its new business handset is now shipping. The E75 is Nokia's first handset to feature its Nokia Messaging email user interface, which allows services like Gmail and Hotmail to managed by the same user interface as used for corporate email clients like Exchange.

The E75 has been designed specifically to cater for email on the move, providing a QWERTY keyboard as well as the Nokia Messaging UI. It is also compatible with Nokia's own internet services platform, Ovi. Given that this includes the N-Gage games service, it's debatable how much of a productivity enhancement that is.

Nokia will be desperate to establish a stronger presence in the business productivity handset space, given the enduring popularity of Apple's iPhone and the news that RIM, the maker of Blackberry phones, is going from strength to strength.

Missed opportunity to make a bigger screen. This is no Blackberry killer, just a different case to a E71.
