Its powerful media player component supports over 50 formats to ensure complete compatibility, while the integrated digital TV tuner adds instant digital capabilities to any television set. The powerful codec on the O!Play Media Pro supports over 50 media formats, offering consumers wide worry-free compatibility with a full range of content. The built-in DVB-T digital TV tuner further offers an instant upgrade to digital TV, which is fast becoming the standard transmission format worldwide. With digital TV, users gain access to higher screen resolutions (DVD-quality), CD-grade audio, interactive content, and data services. O!Play Media Pro not only turns any TV into a digital set, it also doubles as a set-top box, with an intuitive Electronic Program Guide (EPG) that allows for scheduling of content up to seven days in advance.

Exclusive O!Direct and O!MediaShare technologies allow consumers to effortlessly stream content from desktops, notebooks, pads, and smartphones via O!Play Media Pro to their living room TV, all with just a few clicks. O!Direct gets media files moving with a single button press through wired and wireless connections, and bypasses the need to use physical USB storage. The O!MediaShare application (available as a free download from the Android store) connects mobile devices such as pads and smartphones to HDTV through the O!Play Media Pro, supporting wireless streaming of content from those devices to the big screen.
