Luxembourg, 26th November - Black Friday Deals Week returns at Amazon.co.uk for the fourth year in a row, with over 2,000 deals - more than double the number of deals available last year. Running from Monday 25th November until Sunday 1st December and set to be Amazon.co.uk's busiest week of the year to date, Black Friday Deals Week offers Christmas shoppers 'Lightning Deals' - a limited quantity of a product, sold at a discount, for a limited period of time.
This year, Black Friday Deals Week is offering more than 2,000 deals with an average of 40% off current Amazon.co.uk prices, including the following products:

In previous years, the most popular Black Friday deals have been snapped up in seconds and in 2012, speedy shoppers caused the biggest sales day ever for Kindle when they picked up Kindle Fire devices for just £99, saving £30.
This year selected deals will run again on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December to give shoppers another opportunity to buy must-have, cut-price Christmas presents.

Amazon.co.uk is bringing back themed hours so customers can easily find the best deals to save on exactly what they're looking for. The themed hours for 2013 include:
- Music Lovers - including signed albums, DJ equipment and karaoke machines
- Health & Fitness - including workout equipment and trainers
- Family - including bedding, board games and baby care
- Foodies - including cookware, bakeware and appliances
- Cult Entertainment- including films and box sets
In America, the discount shopping day known as Black Friday falls immediately after the Thanksgiving holiday and has signaled the start of the Christmas shopping period for years. Last year, $59.1bn was reportedly spent by US shoppers over the Black Friday weekend.
The Black Friday concept was introduced to the UK in 2010 by Amazon.co.uk. From 300 deals offered in 2010, last year was the busiest Black Friday Deals Week yet with shoppers enjoying more than 1,000 deals. The bestselling deals included Harry Potter - The Complete 8 Film Collection (Blu-ray), uDraw Tablet including Instant Artist (Xbox 360), Six Month Subscription to LOVEFiLM and Our Version of Events (Special Edition CD) by Emeli Sande.
This year, Black Friday Deals Week is expected to be the busiest week of the year to date for Amazon.co.uk. It leads straight into Cyber Monday, Monday 2nd December 2013, the single busiest day of the year at Amazon.co.uk and for online shopping throughout the UK.
