3D future
ViewSonic will preview a clutch of 3D technologies including an affordable 3D camcorder and portable TV at IFA 2010.
The company will showcase a lightweight 3D digital camcorder, which it said can record at 720p and boasts an integrated 3D preview display for around £199. Other star products include a handheld 3D TV, 3D digital camera and 3D digital photo frame.
As well as 3D products, the company will preview its 7 inch Android tablet called ViewPad 7, which will feature 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, access to apps plus front and back facing cameras. The ViewPad 7 will also include assisted GPS, a Micro SD slot, Bluetooth, G-Sensor and USB connectivity.
Adding to its tablet family, ViewSonic will also unveil an Intel-based 10 inch tablet with dual boot Microsoft and Android operating systems.
The company said it will offer visitors a hands on experience in trying out its new range of products including the VPC220, an all-in-one PC, the VMP74, an HD media-streamer and the VEB625, a touch screen e-reader with Wi-Fi connectivity.
"We believe by making 3D simple to use, whilst providing a complete solution, we can introduce 3D technology to consumers who were hesitant about new technology or concerned about the cost," said James Coulson, marketing manager at ViewSonic Europe.
