With the surge in popularity of Bing over the past 12 months, Mozilla has released a customised version of Firefox that incorporates Microsoft’s search engine service.

Released yesterday, Firefox with Bing, sets Bing as the default search engine in the search box and AwesomeBar and makes Bing.com the default home page. Existing Firefox users can also make these changes by installing the Bing Search for Firefox Add-on.

"Now Firefox users who are Bing enthusiasts can use Firefox with Bing to use the web the way they want without having to take extra steps to navigate or customise their settings to Bing," said Microsoft in a statement released earlier this week.

The Bing search engine includes Facebook and Hotmail integration, enhanced media features and incorporates index-serving technology which aims to deliver faster and more relevant search results.

The two companies will share traffic-based revenue from the collaboration.

I still think bing is pretty poor to be honest.
Agree with Jay, just searching information that's on Microsoft's website is still better with Google.
Don't know if it is just me or not. I found that in recent years it is more difficult to search for information on Google, probably due to aggressive SEO activities, commercial products very often take over the first page of the search results. Sometimes it is good to use a different search engine just to get a second opinion.

Likewise, and I find doing a search on Google with “site:mcafee.com” always returns more/better information than McAfee's own search.

Like to use other search engines from time to time - try Wolfram Alpha occasionally because the result can be informative in ways you wouldn't imagine. E.g. Bing ranks as 27th most popular website, Google is 1st.

Just tried your suggestion, but it doesn't like molotov cocktails.

I've kept it in favourites for when im properly searching for something next.
