THQ WIRELESS AND TERRAPLAY TO DELIVER MULTI-PLAYER MOBILE GAMES

2nd October 2007, WOKING, UK, – THQ Wireless (wholly owned by THQ Inc) today announced that four multiplayer mobile games will appear on T-Mobile’s UK ‘Games LIVE’ service, from October 2007 onwards.

Games being offered to T-Mobile users include Top Trumps: Star Wars, Top Trumps: MotoGP, and Top Trumps Football Legends, offering the first major convergence of classic battle card games on mobile, providing mobile users with an opportunity to play online multiplayer gaming battles.

Now available on mobile in the UK for the first time with T-Mobile is the ever-popular and critically acclaimed Worms. Worms has offered millions of people worldwide with countless fun destroying their worm opponents with grenades, rocket launchers and other exciting weapons

The new offering is powered by connected gaming service provider Terraplay, using their Global Gaming Network to provide in-game billing, community features and multiplayer connectivity. The games will be priced at £1 and includes your first 24 hours rental, after 24 hours, you can choose to rent for 1 days at £1, 2 days at £2 or a whole week for just £3. The games will appear on the Terraplay powered games community site, Games LIVE, on T-Mobile.
