Following confirmation yesterday that the Nintendo 3DS will arrive in Europe in March 2011, Capcom has revealed that it is working on two major development projects for the hand-held.

During the Nintendo Conference 2010 which took place in Japan yesterday, the company announced Mega Man Legends 3 Project and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Nintendo says that it will be interacting with fans during the development process like never before for the new Mega Man game and will reveal more at next month's New York Comic-Con.

Talking about Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Nintendo says that the game will involve players competing against the clock to defeat as many enemies as possible in a set time. Featuring Mercenaries missions from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, now fully realised in 3D, the game will add brand new modes and well known characters from the series. Furthermore, the title will take advantage of the WiFi connectivity of the Nintendo 3DS, allowing players from around the world to join forces in co-op gameplay, regardless of location.
