The confirmation that Slash, the guitarist from Velvet Revolver and Gun 'N Roses, would make an appearance in Guitar Hero III was rammed home at the Activision press conference in Liepzig this morning. We've just seen it with our own eyes (pics shortly) and the guys from Red Octane have captured his movements and guitar playing style with perfection.

Slash has lent his likeness and guitar style to the latest game in the Guitar Hero series and will be a playable character when the game hit stores shortly.
