Championship Manager scores on the PSP

Eidos have announced a Sony PSP version of Championship Manager.

Currently in development by Gusto Games, Championship Manager PSP will be a fully portable version of the well known football management simulation and will also boasts a wealth of new features, according to Eidos.

Dealing with everything from transfers to training, tactics to tabloids, Championship Manager, Eidos are claiming it’ll be the closest you'll get to real-life football on a hand-held.

Championship Manager for the PSP will feature a realistic 2D match engine with 55 playable leagues across the top 12 footballing nations, including Europe, Asia and South America and playing in these games will be 25,000 players from 100 nations.

Exclusive to the PSP will be some new game modes, including a Challenge mode and Quick-play 3 season mode. But you’ll also get Live Cup Draws, realistic manager options to influence your team tactics, and the match result along with a fully interactive transfer system simulating modern day negotiations (perhaps wads of cash in brown envelopes passed under the table?).

And finally there’ll be an exclusive PSP skin and interface, an Interactive Board and Backroom staff and, to top it all off, Downloadable Season Data to keep all of your stats right up to date via www.championshipmanager.com
