Genius PSP Speaker and charger

There are a number of yet to be released PSP chargers and speaker systems at CeBIT 2006. Over at the 'Genius' stand, this flashy looking number caught our eye.

The PSP Charger +2.1 speaker system from Genius is a stylish way to charge up your PSP and listen to the music or watch movies on your PSP.

The system allows you to charge and watch movies simultaneously, thanks to the built in battery. The 2.1 speaker system provides a solid sound.

This is the prototype model, which is scheduled for an April release.

Although cool, where would you use it? You cant use it on a train because youd just piss everyone off, not that that stops some people (but thats a whole different rant). And why would you use it at home? As good as the psps movie playing abilities are, the screen is still tiny, and who deosnt have a better audio system?

Very true, it's a pretty large product. It looks great and I think that is the main appeal, rather than anything innovative.

I saw one that was pretty similar but it had two headphone sockets at the front, so a friend can listen too.
I would use something like that without a doubt, yea i got a nice expensive sound system and a computer to play stuff on but damn it looks cool :P lol

Seriously tho ^ ^ I wouldnt mind something like that as i do use my psp for alot of music whiles out or in my house as i cant be bothered with the hassle of CDs for my sound system and although my Dell monitor is very very nice for visual uses its not the best thing for VERY basey music* :P

*yea this may be my own fault for the level of volume i play the music at but shhh thats not the point
