The gameplay in Condemned 2: Bloodshot has certainly improved since the original.
Combat now requires a lot more thought, is far more in-depth and animations are far more varied and bloodthirsty and investigating crimes should give us a well deserved rest between combat and hopefully test out our brain cells more than the example we saw in Leipzig.
