The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction – X-Box

We mis-read the title and handed this game to our very own Incredible Hunk… Nick Haywood (Yeah, dream on! – Ed)

Right then kids, what do we know about The Incredible Hulk? Well, due to blasting himself with Gamma radiation, Dr Bruce Banner turns into the Hulk whenever he gets angry… Of course, in some situations this could be handy such as when the cash machine eats your card or the guy in B&Q whacks you in the nadgers with 18 feet of copper pipe… Right then is when growing twelve feet tall, sprouting muscles all over and have an awesome amount of pent up rage would come in very handy. You can pull that annoying bank teller through the wall and pick your card from his teeth, or give the guy in B&Q a quick lesson about internal plumbing and just how 18 feet of copper fits in… Ahh yes, unfettered rage… in the right situation, anger is cool.

So to cut to the chase, the Hulk is a monster who appears whenever Banner gets his knickers in a twist and this is a game all about him. Now Radical, the guys who made the other Hulk game are back with another Hulk game. Ok, so that sounds weird… What I mean is that Radical made The Hulk movie tie-in, which, while good, was a bits pants in places… namely the Bruce banner places. Plus The Hulk was limited to following the film fairly closely, which overall made an ok game but not anything to get too excited about and turn green. So Radical are back again, this time having a crack at focusing on just being the Hulk and doing what the Hulk does best… smashing stuff up and generally causing mayhem wherever he goes.
