There's an awesome array of games available for today's smartphones, but while they're a whole lot of fun to play, tracking down the right titles can be a challenge. At one point in 2014, the Apple app store alone held a library of over 220,000 games, and though there are various filters available, finding a game you enjoy is about as perplexing as picking a movie to watch on Netflix.

A mind-boggling array of choice, and while popular titles such as Angry Birds, Candy Crush and Fruit Ninja are hard to ignore, we often wonder which hidden gems we're missing out on. So rather than sift through the various stores, we're putting the question to you: which smartphone games are worth playing?
