With over 20 million GALAXY S II devices sold, the Android 4.0 ICS update for Samsung's high-end smartphone is one many are looking forward to. The firm announced yesterday evening that at long last, the update is now available for devices in Korea and Europe, including Poland, Hungary and Sweden and that it will gradually roll-out to other markets.

Samsung also stated that the update would be heading to the GALAXY Note, S II LTE, Tab 8.9 and 10.1 shortly. We're not yet sure if the update has reached any UK handsets, we expect the usual lag associated with carrier specific branding, however, anyone who's particularly impatient will be able to find the update on XDA-Developers for installation at their own risk.

EDIT: Pending carrier approval, the update will be heading to the UK on March 19th.

OOooo… Yay !

Today? or not Today ? - nothing yet… but as long as it's coming that's fine :)
No update on Vodafone…
I am thinking I may have to root my S2 to get ICS. Since getting the phone in November, the phone hasn't once been able to connect to the upgrade server.

I'll wait to see what roms come around in the next week or so and see what T-Mobile do with the ICS update as they are notoriously slow as it is.
I've updated the post but it's heading to the UK on the 19th barring any carriers playing pop. Meanwhile you can get an EU release off XDA-Developers but because of the EU carrier branding, Sky Go won't work until you put a UK release back on :P
What about Galaxy S1 ?
