Windows wonder?
Microsoft has released a teaser for its eagerly anticipated Windows Phone 7.
The film is reportedly a themed offering shown before a cinema screening of Lawrence of Arabia. Microsoft has previously said the phone is planned for European release in October while the handset is set to hit the States in November.
According to Engadget the phone boasts high performance graphics, a touch screen, great camera, snappy user interface and a high res screen as well as services like Xbox Live, Zune and Office. However, it is not expected to support third-party app multitasking and to lack copy and paste functionality, which might be surprising from the maker of Word.
While few apps for the Windows Phone 7 have surfaced so far Recombu has revealed a preview of a 3D zombie game for the handset.
The game, called Bye Bye Brain is reportedly modelled on a standard tower defence-type game only the towers have been replaced by varying zombie killers.
Bye Bye Brain is said to be built using Microsoft's free XNA development kit but reportedly has plenty of exciting features like camera control where gamers can pinch the screen to zoom in on the action, plus internal mini games.
