What else do you get?

The three-way SLI bridge is not something you see that often. Its value will diminish with the release of the GeForce 9800 GX2, too.

Cables, cables, and more cables.

Here's the fan that attaches to the heatpipe.

Summary

Look out for the full review in a few days' time, as we pit the nForce 790i Ultra SLI against the Intel X48 chipset, with particular emphasis on overclocking the CPU's FSB together with high-speed DDR3 memory.

Looks pretty sweet, cant wait for the overclocking reviews!
I take exception to the comment “Then it launched what was to become the enthusiast chipset of choice for Intel LGA775 CPUs.”

680i initially sold well, mainly because of reviews, but it became very clear very quickly that it wasn't as good as the P965s out there, was hot and full of bugs. The only people who ended up buying them were people who saw the name nVIDIA and thought “ooooh, it MUST be good”, people wanting SLi support or those who wanted speed before anything else and had watercooling systems.

I can't remember many spec threads where a 680i-based board was recommended over a P965 one. There were probably more P5Bs sold than there were 680is in total.

They've fallen a long way since the days of nForce2 and SoundStorm.
