Backups. We all know we ought to do them, but how many of us actually take the time to preserve our valuable data and information in case of a hardware failure or theft?
Today, more users have a greater amount of data to lose - your digital music library is probably much bigger now than it was a decade ago - and there are many more devices that need backing up. Whereas creating a copy of your My Documents folder to a blank CD was once ample protection for most, today's consumers need to consider ways of protecting everything from laptops to tablets and smartphones.
Question is, how many of you actually create backups, and of what kind? Do you only backup certain devices, do you trust the cloud as a backup destination, or do you run the risk of not creating any backups at all? Let us know in the comments below.
