Strong Hot Spot Killer
Half a year ago, LEPA has introduced the LV12, the first model of a complete new product section. Now, the manufacturer launches already the second CPU cooler series. But this time, LEPA is not cooling the CPU by air, but uses a closed water cooling system. Performance-capable all-in-one solutions like the brand new LEPA Aquachanger series offer water cooling newbies clear advantages: They are much more affordable than customized liquid cooling systems, are compact, easy to install and do not require any maintenance. Up to that point, the basic concept of the LEPA liquid coolers is nothing new. But the manufacturer has made the right adjustments to compete with the established players on the market.
Striking Appearance with Refined Technology
With the clear-cut shape and red illuminated water block, Aquachanger is a real eye-catcher. The black-red appearance of the cooler fits perfectly with the most current gaming series of leading mainboard and graphics cards manufacturers. LEPA introduces two models, the space-saving Aquachanger 120 with 120mm radiator and the high-performance 240mm version with dual radiator. The R&D team has chosen an independent solution for the cold plate design: With the "Central Diffusing Passage", LEPA engineers increase the water flow rate and speed up the heat dissipation from the CPU, so that hot spots can be eliminated quickly and effectively.
High-Pressure Cooling
Depending on the model, LEPA delivers Aquachanger with one or two 12cm fans which are specially designed to be applied on radiators. The ribbed "Dual Convex Blades" generate a high static pressure, so that more fresh air can be pushed through the tight fins of the radiator. This affects not only the heat transfer process, but also influences the noise generation: The fan achieves an excellent cooling performance with lower RPM.
Quick Installation, Durable Operation
The pump is the heart of every water cooler. LEPA has chosen a high-quality model with ceramic bearing which provides not only a high reliability, but also a quiet operation. Another important element of a liquid cooling system are the tubes: With Polyamid, LEPA applies a material which avoids the evaporation of the coolant and, at the same time, ensures a high flexibility and facilitates the installation of the cooler. The universal mounting system of the Aquachanger series supports all current Intel® and AMD® sockets (Intel® 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011 and AMD® AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2/FM2+).
