AMD TO WEBCAST AMD ATHLON(tm) 64 PROCESSOR LAUNCH EVENT

SUNNYVALE, CA - September 22, 2003 - AMD (NYSE:AMD) announced that it will webcast the San Francisco launch event for the AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor for desktop and notebook PCs on Tuesday, September 23, 2003. The live webcast stream will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT) and conclude approximately one hour later.
