Taipei, May 12, 2014: This year's 7th annual d&i awards formed a venue of fierce rivalry from 288 entries entered from 125 manufacturers (up 21.8% & 13.4 % respectively from 2013).
A total of 74 products were awarded d&i awards in this TAITRA organized event. To guarantee fairness, the award is executed by the famous German-based International Forum design, namely iF, and is now the major showcase for innovative products.
A large amount of awarded products went to wearable devices, mobile devices and network communication products. First time contender, Qualcomm, from the semiconductor sector tightened the race by fielding its Toq Smartwatch to open all options: calls, social media, music, charts appointments, and daily activity checklist. All of this seamlessly links technology with lifestyles.
