"Our new product introductions at CES highlight how NETGEAR innovates to provide you with the seamless connectivity options that work best for your home and mobile lifestyle. "Our products power the Smart Home, ensuring the devices you want to connect are enabled by a reliable, secure, and easy-to-use network. We make it possible for you to do the things you want - high-octane gaming, streaming HD entertainment, working remotely, keeping an eye on your home and property - from wherever and whenever you want, using the device you want."

NETGEAR is delighted with its "hat trick" of CES Innovations Awards for all three routers in its premium Nighthawk line of 802.11ac wireless networking products. Both the Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band WiFi Router (R8000) and the Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Smart WiFi Router (R7500) are among this year's honorees. The company is now adding multiple new features to last year's CES Innovations honoree and PC Magazine Editors' Choice award-winning router, the Nighthawk® AC1900 Smart WiFi Router (R7000) (http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/R7000.aspx). Nighthawk R7000 now supports NETGEAR ReadyCLOUDTM for easier remote access to USB storage and features an enhanced NETGEAR genie® for remote network management. It also includes a new install wizard to make it easier than ever to use your Nighthawk in conjunction with your existing ISP gateway for faster speeds and better wireless coverage. You can add these new capabilities to your Nighthawk through a free firmware update available this month on the NETGEAR Support website.

At CES, NETGEAR is expanding its family of WiFi Range Extenders by three products, including the next-generation, CES Innovations Award honoree Nighthawk® AC1900 WiFi Range Extender (EX7000) (UK RRP £119.99). Worthy of the Nighthawk name, the Nighthawk EX7000 delivers 802.11ac performance with up to 1900 Mbps* of dual-band WiFi speed, making it the fastest and most powerful WiFi Range Extender on the market. Along with the AC1200 WiFi Range Extender (EX6150) (UK RRP £79.99) and the AC750 WiFi Range Extender - Essentials Edition (EX3700) (UK RRP £49.99), the three Range Extenders give you an easy and effective way to fight WiFi dead zones so you can enjoy whole-home connectivity for HD video streaming and online gaming on any device in any location of your home. All of the new extenders offer a redesigned NETGEAR genie experience with a new look and feel, an easier installation, and improved features such as access point mode, WiFi coverage controls, and access scheduling for parental controls. Additionally, the new genie user interface will automatically adapt to your device to provide an optimal viewing experience no matter the size of your device screen.

Making their debut at CES, the new NETGEAR Powerline 1200 (PL1200) (www.netgear.com/PL1200) and Powerline 1200 + Extra Outlet (PLP1200) (www.netgear.com/PLP1200Adapter Kits feature next-generation Powerline technology with up to 1.2 Gbps* of speed. NETGEAR powerline adapters offer easy, plug-and-play setup to bring wired Internet access using existing electrical wiring to any room in your home without running long wires or drilling into walls to install Ethernet cables. Both Powerline 1200 adapters are compliant with HomePlug® AV2 standard, enabling the adapters to reach two times the performance over prior generation Powerline adapters while delivering expanded whole-home coverage. Enabled by multiple simultaneous data streams (MIMO) with Beamforming technology, Powerline 1200 adapters deliver gigabit speed at even longer distances, ideal for 4K video streaming, lag-free online gaming, or whole-home video monitoring. Setup and installation are made simple through a "pick-a-plug" LED indicator light that guides you to an electrical outlet where your adapter will perform best. You can add up to 16 adapters to expand your home network. The Powerline 1200 + Extra Outlet adapter includes a convenient pass-through power outlet so you will still be able to use the power socket for TVs, game consoles, or a power strip. Both Powerline 1200 adapters automatically power down when not in use to save on energy.

NETGEAR invites press, analysts, customers and to visit their showroom suite in the Marriott Las Vegas this week to see demonstrations of the above-described new products and more.
