Innovative chassis specialist In Win is showing off a mechanically transforming tower chassis at Computex 2015. The In Win H-Tower is described as a "6th Generation Concept Design" which is "not only stunning to watch, but also allows for fast PC installation and maintenance". You can see how the chassis transforms itself from a closed 'H' configuration to openly accessible chassis in the brief video below.
Sticking to the topic of the overall appearance and design of the chassis, In Win will be producing limited quantities of the H-Tower in its own classic Titanium-black livery. For the first time In Win has partnered with ASUS RoG and will be making a version of the H-Tower in red and black, with ROG logo with Maya patterned features. You can see the two case colour options below. The H-Tower also features laser lighting and highlights.
To open and close the H-Tower and to select various laser lighting options users don't have to do anything so crude as press a button on the chassis itself or fiddle around with PC control panels – it's all remotely controlled by the In Win H-Tower smartphone app.
Looking at the technical specs, this substantial case can accommodate E-ATX, ATX and micro ATX motherboards, eight expansion slots, and support for both air and water cooling setups. It features easy access on the front panel for 3x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x USB 3.1 Type C port and audio I/O. However, despite its size (and weight of 23Kg) it only supports a single 3.5-inch drive and 4x 2.5-inch drives.
