Nvidia has made the Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 and RTX 6000 graphics cards available for pre-order in the US. However, the third and most powerful and expensive new Turing GPU powered Quadro graphics card, the RTX 8000, isn't available to order and interested parties can only forlornly click the button that says 'notify me'. You can find each of the new Nvidia Quadro RTX cards listed here in the US. I've checked the UK site and none of the cards are available to pre-order on this side of the pond.

As a reminder, the Quadro range of graphics cards from Nvidia are aimed at tasks such as real-time photorealistic rendering, AI-augmented workflows, VR environments, and other professional workflows. As well as Nvidia's newest and best GPUs, these cards are supported by optimised, stable drivers, ISV certifications with over 100 professional applications, and tools for IT management.

Quadro RTX 5000, at $2,300

This graphics card utilises the full TU104 GPU, with 3,072 CUDA cores, 384 Tensor cores, and 48 RT cores. It sports 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit memory interface. Base specs are: 11.2 TFLOPS FP32 performance, 62T RTX-OPS, and 8 Giga Rays/sec cast.

Quadro RTX 6000, at $6,300

This graphics card utilises the full TU102 GPU, with 4,608 CUDA cores, 576 Tensor cores, and 72 RT cores. It sports 24GB of GDDR6 memory on a 384-bit memory interface. Base specs are: 16.3 TFLOPS FP32 performance, 84T RTX-OPS, and 10 Giga Rays/sec cast.

Quadro RTX 8000, at $10,000

This graphics card also utilises the full TU102 GPU, with 4,608 CUDA cores, 576 Tensor cores, and 72 RT cores. The big step up is that it sports a whopping 48GB of GDDR6 memory. Base specs are: 16.3 TFLOPS FP32 performance, 84T RTX-OPS, and 10 Giga Rays/sec cast. The RTX 8000 doesn't have a product page at the time of writing just a pop-up 'quick-specs' information card and 'notify me' form.

To introduce the new Quadro cards Nvidia is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, 9th Oct at 9:00am – 10:00am PT. If you tune in you can benefit from a "deep dive on how Turing fuses real-time ray tracing, AI, simulation, and rasterisation to open up amazing creative possibilities." Furthermore, creation techniques incorporating real-time ray tracing will be examined. If you participate in the webinar you could win an Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 (T&Cs PDF).

Actually as much as I hate to say this, because they are too expensive imo, they're actually pretty cheap for quadro's considering their specs….especially the rtx5000, it's only 3x the price of the ‘equivalent’ geforce, usually it's like 5x if not more.

Google, Facebook, MSFT, Amazon etc, don't have kidneys and this price is a joke to them. It's not meant for YOU…LOL.

Haters gonna hate even on products not aimed at them…ROFL.
