We have spotted indications that Nvidia will be launching new GeForce GTX 1650 graphics cards very soon, and we should expect the first gaming laptops with GeForce GTX 16 series GPUs to arrive soon too. But before these products have even dropped, we are already looking at the next shiny mid-range graphics things from the green team, and they look likely to be the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics cards.

If you head on over to the shipping manifests published by the EEC trade body, you will find a list of graphics products from Asus. The long list of products shipped from Taiwan to the EEC trade region earlier this month.

In among the PC components we already have seen or otherwise know about, an extensive range of graphics cards based upon the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti were listed, and they are as follows:

  • Asus GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Dual
  • Asus GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Dual Advanced
  • Asus GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Dual Overclocked
  • Asus ROG Strix GTX 1650 Ti Gaming
  • Asus ROG Strix GTX 1650 Ti Gaming Advanced
  • Asus ROG Strix GTX 1650 TI Gaming Overclocked
  • Asus TUF GTX 1650 Ti Gaming
  • Asus TUF GTX 1650 Ti Gaming Advanced
  • Asus TUF GTX 1650 Ti Gaming Overclocked
  • Asus Phoenix GTX 1650 Ti Gaming
  • Asus Phoenix GTX 1650 Ti Gaming Overclocked
  • Asus GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Low Profile
  • Asus GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Low Profile Overclocked

Currently, rumours point to the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics cards packing 1024 CUDA cores, plus 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit bus. As a reminder, we expect the vanilla GTX 1650 to come with the same memory subsystem but with 896 CUDA cores. Pricing will plug the rather large MSRP gap between the $149 GTX 1650 and the $219 GTX 1660.

Someone needs to tell Nvidia to slow down. There's too many cards from them and I don't think there's much point in a 1650 Ti because they already basically own that whole section of the market
