AMD revealed a surprisingly large amount of information about its product roadmaps and company strategy earlier this month when it held its Financial Analyst Day 2015 event. At the event AMD detailed its re-entry into the x86 CPU market with "Zen" as well as confirming that new GPUs would be coming by the end of this quarter with High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM). According to the latest information AMD may host a similarly revealing event as soon as June 3rd, coinciding with the Computex 2015 event in Taiwan which runs from June 2nd to June 6th.

On a micro-site hosted by AMD this event is said to be used as a platform to reveal "comprehensive details on AMD’s 2015 product lineup" as well as let members of the press "see AMD’s latest products and leading-edge technologies, while experiencing immersive visual, computing, and gaming demonstrations". In short, it seems as if June 3rd could be the official unveil date for AMD's new APUs and GPUs that are expected to launch in this quarter.

Alternative speculation surrounding AMD's Rx 300 series has suggested the new GPUs might be unveiled slightly later at the E3 event kicking off June 18th. AMD is rumoured to be releasing its entire Rx 300 series, bar the flagship, on June 18th while the range-topping R9 390X "Fiji-based" graphics card may get its own separate launch date on June 24th. The speculation makes sense given that AMD announced it would be one of the sponsors of the first ever PC Gaming shows at E3 2015.

Recent news suggested that the bulk of the AMD Rx 300 series might comprise of rebranded Rx 200 series parts, which are themselves primarily rebranded HD 7000 series cards. The R9 380, R9 370 and R9 360 are to be based on rebrands of the R9 285, R7 265 and R9 260 (R7 260X) graphics cards, respectively. More details are sure to follow as we near Computex 2015.

You realise you just reviewed Hexus' announcement of AMD's announcement of their upcoming product announcement.

PS. GPU's = mildly interested, APU's = not that interested. Wot no CPU's?
