Bringing style to the 24in TV/Monitor-hybrid market, LG is set to launch its premium DM2752 and M2752 monitors in the UK this July, ideal for those who enjoy watching TV from the corner of their eye whilst on their PC, with the inclusion of dual-HDMI PIP.

Both monitors feature Full HD IPS panels, in-keeping with the range of colour and viewing angles typically found in a high-end TV or professional monitor. Likewise, the TVs include LG's Infinite Surround Sound, which should offer some pretty decent audio for such a small screen. Two HDMI ports are provided, for quick hookup to HD set-top boxes and consoles, with a USB quick-view option for playback of certain multi-media content from USB sources.

With respect to its potential use as a gaming monitor, LG has implemented Smooth Colour Change technology, which it claims eliminates blur from rapid motion scenes, a typical pitfall for IPS-based panels. To top-off matters, the DM variant offers LG's passive 3D technology and features 2D to 3D content up-scaling; what's more, this monitor includes LG's 'Dual Play' technology, which, whilst conceptually very simple, allows two gamers to have individual full-screen experiences much like Sony's PlayStation 3D Display.

With the specs, the looks and even a few new and unique features, LG's DM2752 is shaping up to be one heck of a monitor, certainly something to keep an eye out for as reviews begin to crop up in the next few months.

Looks quite nice, the bezel is still quite big and I'm just waiting for the tide to tip towards 1600p becoming more common in a 24". I'm not a big fan of multi-monitor setups
Hmm, wasnt the DM range meant to have been released around feb? I recall you guys doing an article on new IPS 3d monitors and very thin ones from LG but were due out in a month or two.

Slow LG, i was hooked on the hope that i could get a 3d IPS display but now ive lost interest, there seems to be these monitors branded as CATLEAP and theres a 2B variant that is using an s-IPS panel (as opposed to the budget e-ips in most <£300 ips panels now but they are still good, love my u2311h!) which are only $350 and yet they can do 120hz!!! They are IPS doing 120hz… insane really insane and i hope either they get active or passive film shoved on there to have 3d :D…. and someone should bring them to england (as in a shop), id love to grab one!.

You can buy the M range around some parts of Europe now, though the DM range has indeed taken longer than expected.
yeah, im clearly not the target audience for LG as i cannot be bothered with all this faf on monitors, PIP is a bit useless for me and sound is not going to come close to my full surround setup, however for people who dont want external speakers then i can see the attraction.

Hopefully LG release their own 120Hz IPS 3d monitors soon, as CATLEAP is using LG panels yet can do all that bar 3d :P. Or just bring me OLED at <£1k! :D
