Memory-specialist OCZ has launched the first of its XMP-ready tri-channel memory modules for Intel's Core i7.

The DDR3 kits, pictured below and available in 3GB of 6GB models, run at 1,333MHz whilst keeping latencies at the expected 7-7-7-20.

The added bonus, says OCZ, is that the matched modules utilise Intel's Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) - a feature that allows users to overclock with ease by selecting extreme or ultimate performance modes, without having to adjust numerous settings.

Each module is donned with a black Intel-branded XTC heatspreader and backed by OCZ's lifetime warranty. No mention of pricing as of yet, but further details can be found at OCZtechnology.com.
