StoreJet 25 mobile, available now in 160GB and 250GB capacities
Taiwan-based digital storage provider, Transcend, announced today its shock-resistant portable hard drive, the StoreJet 25 mobile.
Available now in both 160GB and 250GB capacities, the drive is said to meet U.S. military drop-test standards, namely the MIL-STD-810F Transit Drop. According to Transcend, the two-stage anti-shock technology makes the StoreJet 25 mobile one of the safest places to keep your data.
The 'mobile' component of the product title refers to the drive's reasonable weight of 206g and measurements of 134mm x 80.8mm x 18.8mm. The drive features an extra-rugged shockproof silicone outer case and provides USB 2.0 connectivity. No official word on pricing for either capacity model just yet, but expect these to pop up at retailers any moment now.
