Conclusion
...if you've out-grown a loud and garish full-tower, be quiet!'s humble newcomer could be just what the doctor ordered. The be quiet! Pure Base 600 is a sensible, no-frills enclosure for users looking to build a subtle, functional and ultra-quiet PC.
Considering the enclosure's simplicity - it does nothing we've not seen before - we're surprised at how enjoyable it has been to work with. It's a case of focussing on the basics and making sure the little details are right. These include good-quality fans, an integrated three-stage controller and sound-dampened panels on the front, top and sides.
Storage bays of the 2.5in, 3.5in and 5.25in variety are plentiful, as are fan mounts, and build quality is good throughout. The only obvious omission is a lack of USB Type-C, and of course, if you're seeking ultimate performance, flashy lights or a chance to show off your internal hardware, this isn't the case for you. On the flip side, if you've out-grown a loud and garish full-tower, be quiet!'s humble newcomer could be just what the doctor ordered.
Bottom line: the Pure Base 600 isn't the most exciting chassis you'll ever see, yet it's quiet, capable and recommended to users wanting to refine their PC experience.
