GTX 1650 Super is an altogether more attractive proposition than the GTX 1650 launched back in April.

Responding to the perceived Radeon RX 5500 threat, Nvidia's new baby Turing solution employs a pared-down TU116 die and faster GDDR6 memory to deliver a framerate uplift of between 30 and 35 per cent.

Such gains translate to considerably smoother gameplay at a full-HD resolution, and though a six-pin power connector has become a requirement, that's a minor inconvenience, and performance is now more in line with our expectations of a £150 GPU.

Palit's StormX OC model, sadly, is too noisy to be truly worthy of consideration, yet we come away feeling as though GTX 1650 Super represents decent value at around £150. Over to you, AMD.

You really need to be showing this in comparison to it's contemparies so we can guage it's worth - RX590, RX580, RX570, GTX1060, GTX 1050Ti, GTX1070

None of these direct alternatives are present in the charts, which reduces the the usefulness of the review, unfortunately.

Hit the nail right on the head, I would have even thrown in a gtx970 or something as well in the results.
Looks like we have an updated 1060 costing nearly the same. Just few years later. A progress ? Nah. Same rip off.

Its enough to beat the competition, and that is generally all Nvidia will do.
And the 5500 XT is not what we hoped it would be.
Hope the 5600 and 5800 do better.
I now have to re-think my choice of card as the GTX 1650 died this afternoon (after 5 months usage) therefore i'll now be purchasing an EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER instead…
