Conclusion
...Eagle OC offers a marginally faster core speed than the Founders Edition. If we conveniently skirt the stock issue affecting every premium graphics card right now, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is an impressive performer at the purported £369 price point. Offering excellent framerates at QHD and passable at UHD, it serves the needs of the many.
Partners are understandably keen to expose their offerings to a ravenous public. The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC offers a marginally faster core speed than the Founders Edition in a dual-slot package that has a modicum of RGB lighting on the side.
Construction is mainly plastic, unlike the metal of the FE, there's too much coloured branding on the card, and out of the box the fans spin up to 2,000rpm, causing this model to be substantially louder than it needs to be. No RTX 3060 Ti's fans need to spin faster than 1,300rpm.
The RGB implementation could also use a rethink as the LED hotspot is entirely visible on the left-hand side. Taking these observations into account suggests the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC only makes sense if it is cheap and available, as the FE model has it beat in almost every way that matters.
The Good The Bad Great perf at QHD
Solid temps
Stock issues
RGB implementation not great
Fans spin at 2,000rpm
