We believe that Nvidia now holds a commanding performance lead for high-end, single-GPU graphics cards. Punching above anything offered by the competing Radeon band from AMD, the GTX Titan and GTX 780 are primed for running games at ultra-quality levels.

Large-volume partner Palit eyes success in the profitable enthusiast segment of the market and has accordingly launched a number JetStream models equipped with massive coolers and very competitive frequencies. The GTX 780 Super JetStream version, for example, ships at tasty clocks - including faster-than-default memory - and our sample boosts to sky-high frequencies during gaming.

The upshot of a potent architecture and high speeds is benchmark performance that's higher than any other single-GPU card we've tested, and that list includes the more expensive Titan. Such performance is married to reasonable noise levels and temperatures, as well.

Bottom line: if you have a lot of cash burning a hole in your pocket and want a graphics card that will last for a while, Palit's Super JetStream GTX 780 is as good a bet as any.
