Priced at £450, this is one of few GTX 980s overclocked on both core and memory, and the mix of heightened frequencies makes it one of the quickest single-GPU cards around.Nvidia has revitalised the high-end graphics space with the recent introduction of the GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards. Taking full advantage of the latest-generation Maxwell architecture, both SKUs deliver high-end performance in a package that's relatively energy efficient, resulting in cards that are considerably cooler and quieter than their previous-gen counterparts.
Building on these solid foundations, Palit's Super JetStream is a fine example of how partner cards can further enhance the appeal of high-end GeForce GTX 980. It's easy to fall into the speed trap and end up with a card that's unnecessarily hot and loud, but Palit makes no such mistake. Temperatures are easily kept in check and, better still, the cooler is the quietest we've seen on a GeForce GTX 980. This is almost the complete package, and there's only one minor niggle we can think of: the mini display outputs. That aside, the Palit GTX 980 Super JetStream is a mighty fine offering.
