picCOLOR v4.0
The FIBUS Research Institute's picCOLOR image analysis application is a great test of a bunch of variables including CPU, memory bus and also the graphics driver (depending on the test). HEXUS work closely with FIBUS's Dr. R. Mueller to ensure we understand and are kept up to date on new picCOLOR revisions and performance data. The current v4.0 is multi-threaded and able to take advantage of up to 4 processors in single-core or dual-core SMP fashion.
Less than 1% difference means a real-world performance equivalence in this application, as we've seen pretty much across the board.
