Graphical Tests
Bearing in mind the N2VIEW uses a variant of the GeForce 4 MX graphics core, a DirectX 7-class accelerator that can't do all DX8 shader ops in hardware, don't expect GeForce 6 performance.4825 is a fair bit faster than what we initially saw in reviews of the original nForce2 IGP-128/333 bridge, but a couple of thousand points away from what's generally regarded as decent DX8-class performance. It's no 3D powerhouse, but it doesn't do terribly.
Highlighting the fact that the onboard VGA core is showing its age, it wouldn't complete our X² benchmark at all.
Respectable UT2003 framerates, especially when under load, from the GF4 MX core. Dropping down to 800x600 and knocking detail down a touch would help immensely. You can do decent light gaming at least.
