Conclusion

The GB2760QSU offers a pleasing gaming experience when tied to top-end AMD hardware...

Iiyama's burgeoning Red Eagle monitor range includes a 27in WQHD, 144Hz TN panel outfitted with a wide FreeSync range. The GB2760QSU offers a pleasing gaming experience when tied to top-end AMD hardware, with RX Vega 64 the clear choice for maximising the gaming potential.

Slim bezels, decent flexibility and excellent colour uniformity help the screen along, though the luminance could certainly be better.

There are a number of good gaming monitors available this year, so if you have a budget of around £400 and want to go down the AMD route, the GB2760QSU, equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate and low-framerate compensation, represents a decent all-round choice

Bottom line: a no-nonsense gaming monitor whose fluid gaming potential is truly realised by AMD RX Vega hardware.

The Good

The Bad
QHD a good fit at 27in
Slim bezels are nice
144Hz and LFC both present
FreeSync works well

Luminance is poor

Looks the same spec as my old Benq monitor which they don't seem to make any more, but I think this is rather better looking. Would have hoped the price would have been lower, I paid £450 for the Benq ages ago when it seemed leading edge. Perhaps 4K panels are getting the benefit of mass production rather than these.

I have a similar spec Acer monitor that is still worth £400 which is what I paid over a year ago now.
