Thoughts

When it comes to products with a 'cool factor', Corsair's XMS Xpert memory definitely has a lot going for it. An LED display on your RAM? Which can accept custom messages of your choosing? That's beyond cool, and entering the realms of genius. Putting that to one side, there's also a practical use for this product too, particularly for the keen overclocker who wants to keep a close eye on all his system components - What better way to keep tabs on your memory than through the display seen here? Even in an enclosed case, there's still Corsair's Memory Dashboard to monitor all the vital statistics of your precious RAM modules.

Of course, like most memory modules, Corsair's offering here will live or die largely based on its performance, and for that we will have to wait to see final, shipping modules. It seems fair to expect some fantastic specifications and performance in the Xpert range though, judging by their previous efforts in the enthusiast field. Add that in to the nifty functionality, both hardware and software, on offer here, and you have yourself some RAM that the true enthusiasts among us will be clamouring for, if only to make yourself stand out from the crowd at your next LAN party.

Thanks

Corsair for the sample

hmm something that actually looks good and will be very usefull ,cant wait for the review proper.

only problem with corsair is they are turning their ram modules into skyscrapers too tall to fit some mobo's if you want to use decent hsf's  that and it will no doubt carry a large pricetag on its head ,but if it fits and you have the money it should be a nice tool to invest in no doubt
yes, by the looks of it, it'll be just like the other 2225 stuff but more expensive, very cool though :D

great lil review btw
We will review as soon as we have the proper kit hit us - this was a hand made engineering sample.

We should have them soon.
