Conclusion
...Corsair One Elite is a fine choice for enthusiasts looking to swap-out a full-tower behemoth in favour of a more elegant solution.Corsair One remains a very good example of a small-form-factor gaming PC. Building on the foundations of the award-winning Pro, the Elite raises the bar with a hexa-core Intel Core i7-8700K processor, 32GB of memory, a fast M.2 SSD and meaty GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics.
Such lavish specifications are at the heart of the One Elite appeal, and though the £2,700 price tag may seem steep, there's little else on the market quite like it. Gaming, streaming, virtual reality, multimedia and content creation are all well within its remit, and Corsair's integration of liquid cooling and full-fat desktop components is such that performance, cooling and connectivity are about as good as it gets.
There are a few caveats to be aware of, however. Any upgrade path is inevitably limited and the fans, though quiet, could be distracting if the One Elite is placed in close proximity, but that's about it for our list of niggles on what is otherwise an excellent showcase of modern PC technology.
Bottom line: Corsair One Elite is a fine choice for enthusiasts looking to swap-out a full-tower behemoth in favour of a more elegant solution.
