The use of overclocked OCZ PC8000 modules pushes bandwidth higher than MESH's system but still below an AM2's, according to ScienceMark 2.0.



Core 2 Duo may not feature an integrated memory controller, yet the use of high-speed RAM with low latencies, high CPU clock speeds and an intelligent architecture, leads to the lowest memory latency timings we've ever seen.



Which, in turn, leads to the fastest Pifast time we've ever recorded. As a comparison, a 3GHz Pentium D 930, not a slow CPU by any means, returns a time of around 78 seconds. Even the previous king of HEXUS.Pifast, the AMD Athlon 64, is left trailing well behind.
