Stellar single-threaded performance thus far. How does it fare with our multi-threaded suite?

A Core 2 Duo running at 3.4GHz, backed up by the fastest system memory we've seen in a pre-built PC (DDR2, 1020MHz, 4-4-4-14), combine to, well, make a stock-clocked Core 2 Extreme-based machine look slow in comparison.

Fast? You bet. The slowest of the bunch here is a well-tuned Athlon 64 FX-62 AM2 machine, and we've seen just how good the FX range has been in the last 3 years or so.
